The Activity Map helps business users and marketers visualize

The Activity Map helps business users and marketers visualize and understand the paths a customer takes as they visit a digital property. It overlays important information directly on a website. This makes it easy for users to make decisions about their digital assets. They can also see the metrics for individual elements on a page.

The activity map includes a set of features that allow users to fine tune their digital properties, reduce friction on the conversion path, and increase engagement. These features include importing activities, adjusting sequence of activities, exporting activities, and editing activities. In addition, it has powerful segmentation tools. Users can break out results by audience segments.

The map also displays the last customer who triggered an event in a particular location. By clicking on a particular marker on the map, users can view more detailed information. Additionally, filters can be used to exclude devices from the map. Another filter, referred to as the “days to SLA” filter, can be used to specify conditions that must be met before a customer is deemed active.

For example, a store purchase can trigger a transactional email task with an embedded discount offer. The email task can be followed by a web task displaying an advertisement on a webpage. Depending on how the customer interacts with the email, the web task can be used to continue the customer’s journey.

In addition to tracking the number of times a customer has interacted with a website, the Activity Map also tracks the links on that page. When a customer clicks on a link on a website, a mark on the map is placed on that hyperlink. You can then see the The Activity Map number of times the link was clicked, and the name of the page it was linked from.

You can also set up the activity map to show multiple starting points. This allows you to customize the experience for different customers. One path may deliver a coupon via email, while another path might display an advertisement on a mobile app.

When you add a new node to a path, you have the option to insert it into the path after the existing node. You can then decide how you want to treat the customer. If you choose to insert the node after the existing node, you must specify a value for the first column of the new path.

If you do not specify a value for the first column of a new path, the new path cannot begin in that column. However, you can reorder the markers on the map using the stack icon. The “1 of x” number on the top left hand corner of a project icon indicates which project is the first of x tasks that are ongoing.

When adding a new trigger event, you can add attributes to help you identify which customers are likely to respond to your campaigns. Attributes can be set up to be either a condition, an event, or a combination of both. You can also configure the time period for the trigger event.
